Restrictions: Squads are restricted to individual States. There are NO transplant players allowed.
If there are no squads (location of the squad's captain) within 90 miles of your home in your home state and you live within 15 miles of the state lines of a neighboring state, you have the option to play on a squad of that neighboring state provided the squad's captain lives within 90 miles of your home and all 10 players are contained within a 180 mile diameter circle. No other exceptions will apply. Valid State Issued Drivers licenses will be checked to verify location.
The East Coast is defined as: ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ, PA, OH, WV, MD, DE, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL as well as the following Canadian cities: Toronto, Motreal, and Quebec.
The event is open to all states, however, for non East Coast states, all players must be from the same state and be contained within a 100 mile radius circle. NO EXCEPTIONS.
DEADLINES:
Intent to Form a Squad: 1/19/2014
Captain must send an email to beastoftheeast(at)eastcoastbeerpong.com with the subject: INTENT TO FORM A SQUAD FOR BOTE 2014
Proper format for the subject line of the email is ESSENTIAL.
Submission of rosters:
by 2/9/2014 for the early entry rate of $700 per squad (must also be paid by this date to get the early entry rate)
by 2/23/2014 for the late entry rate of $750 per squad
Late Payment Deadline:
All payments must be in by 3/9/2014 or your squad will not be participating.
Change of rosters: Once a roster is submitted, you may not substitute players from another roster whatsoever. If a player on your roster can no longer attend, you must notify ECBP and they may be substituted by another player, but that player cannot be from another squad that has already been submitted. All roster changes and substitutions must be made by 3/23/2014.
Additional rules: *Violence and unsportmanlike behavior can and will get you removed from the event. If this is to occur, your squad will be forced to play handicapped.
*No one is allowed to interfere with game play including other members of your squad. We encourage everyone to cheer on their squads but please do so in a sportsmanlike manner. You are responsible for anyone not on your squad watching your matches as well. Their actions will effect your squad.
*You may not cross the plane of the table while the other team is shooting. If it is your shot, you may not cross the half-way mark of the table. Breaking either rule will enforce an automatic free penalty shot by the other team - penalty shots cannot be used towards roll-backs.
*Captains are required to keep their squads under control and obeying all rules setforth by ECBP.
